New 700m bridge cuts Al Ain-Nad Al Sheba travel to just 60 seconds

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is launching a 700-metre two-lane bridge to directly connect Dubai–Al Ain Road with Nad Al Sheba, reducing travel time from six minutes to just one.

Designed to handle 2,600 vehicles per hour, the bridge aims to ease congestion for around 30,000 residents by improving traffic flow at key entry and exit points.

Construction is set to begin in Q4 2025 and complete by Q4 2026.

The project is part of RTA’s broader strategy to enhance road infrastructure and mobility across the emirate, with additional upgrades including a new roundabout, internal roads, and improved access to local schools.
